The Story

This is a story of a young woman who has gone through a series of tragic events in her life. Although life was at times unkind to her, she still sees the beauty around her, but she could never feel beautiful herself and therefore could never truly love herself.

But whenever she got a chance, she would close her eyes, and all these gorgeous red roses would start to appear around her. These roses danced and swayed in perfect harmony, and she could even smell its sweetness in the air. And just for a moment, she knew, she felt, she was, beautiful.

When her eyes were wide opened, however, even on the whitest and brightest of day, the world seemed to look somewhat greyish, and sometimes it was as black as night. But these enchanting red roses that she sees whenever her eyes are closed evoked a burning desire inside her to truly love herself, for she knew deep down that she deserved that love.

The world might not portray life as what we may hope for it to be at all times. But never deny what the heart says in silence, for true beauty and love lies within us all, if only we choose to see it…
