Tips For Creating Multiple Social Media Post Fast

I never posted a lot on social media before I became an artist. You can say that I’m more of the type ‘sometimes you see me, and sometimes you don’t…’

I did, however, used to create posts for my business social media accounts before, which were usually related to products and services. Yes, I’m more comfortable being behind the scenes, so posting about products was easier for me.

I did, however, used to create posts for my business social media accounts before, which were usually related to products and services. Yes, I’m more comfortable being behind the scenes, so posting about products was easier for me.

But when I became an artist, from battling my self-limiting beliefs to finally pursuing my passion for arts, I suddenly found myself wanting to share my journey with others.

Ideas Don't Always Come By Easily

I faced a big problem when I first started writing posts on social media, which is, I didn’t know what to post about.

And it’s not that I don’t want to do it, but sometimes I really couldn’t find any ideas, and I wouldn’t post any content for days.

Yes, we don’t have to post content every day, but I have discovered that when we don’t do something consistently enough, especially when we feel it’s a difficult task, we might just give up altogether at some point.

And so that’s why posting consistently is good practice.

We are Not Alone

Surprisingly enough, we are not alone. To date, I’ve met many people who stumbled on the same problem too.

Some people tried coming up with ideas, and it only left them feeling more frustrated a few hours later when nothing turns up.

The tips...

The good thing is, there is always hope. So here are some tips that I’ve been using for my own social media posting:

1) Take several photos of the same item or activity

You can take them from different angles, with different expressions, pose, positions, and so on.

For example, when I paint, I can take photos of the work in progress, when signing the artwork, applying varnish, just me and the painting, and any other idea that comes to mind.

2) spread your photo collection across several posts

Because you have a variety of photos in hand, you can now spread them out and use them on several posts for several days.

You can also reuse these same photos by writing different captions and contents to tell a different story, in different posts. So now you have a few months’ worths of content that you can use anytime you want.

3) Write post in advance

It’s good practice to find a time and write your post perhaps a week in advance. But if that feels like too much work, then you can do what I do – list down captions or title headings and then match them with the photos we have in our collection.

These days, I mostly write my post the night before or in the early mornings. I tend to write faster too because I already have an idea of what I’m going to write in the first place.

It's Time To Post

Next, we can also schedule our posts in advance using certain apps or just post them manually. Either way, by practicing steps 1-3, we’re now able to create multiple Social Media posts a lot faster.

I hope this helps and good luck with your posting!

NOTE: The above is an an example how I use one item (a canvas I just bought) and took several photos of it in different angles, location and pose. I have used and reuse them several times in my social media post just by changing the captions and contents to tell different stories.
